Thank you for your interest in serving God’s Kingdom at Life Springs Church! Please take a moment and familiarize yourself with the information below BEFORE registering.

At LSC, we have different ministry levels based on what level of accountability that you are ready for.  Let’s explain:

Tier 1
For this tier, the only requirement is that you have a pulse and attend Life Springs Church! If you’ve got that, you can serve.

*If you are serving at the Dream Center, you don't have to attend LSC.

Tier 2
You meet the previous prerequisites
You sign a Lifestyle Commitment Form

Below are all of the ministries, descriptions and positions you can sign up for.  Please take a look at them and when you're ready, click the "REGISTER HERE" button.

Once you click the “REGISTER HERE” button, please follow the prompts and choose the area of ministry you’re interested in and then a dropdown list will show on the following screen with all of the Pressing Needs and all the tiered positions.

OUR MINISTRIES 

Our Administrative Team does a great job ensuring data and personal information is kept secure as well as provide any supplies needed for different ministry elements.  Please take a moment to look at the options below:

Tier 1: Data Entry - Helps with routine documentation and administrative tasks.

Tier 2: Editor - Edit any publications and website content.

Our Broadcast Team helps bring events and services to life by managing audio, video, and live streaming. They ensure everything runs smoothly so everyone can participate and engage, whether in person or online. Please take a moment to review the options below:

Tier 1:  Camera Operator - Operation of a camera during one of our livestream services to allow our online guests the best experience.

Tier 2:  Switcher - Work with the broadcast director to switch between different camera.

Tier 3: 

Announcements/Emcee - Communicating announcements in front of a camera.

Preservice Party Host - Communicating and engaging with the online audience prior to services.

Director - A leader with the ability to create a cohesive and unified worship and service experience for the online community.

Our Care Team supports and serves others by showing compassion, assisting with needs, and providing encouragement to students, families, and the community. They help create a welcoming and caring environment for everyone. Please take a moment to review the options below:

Tier 1: 

Gifts - Assist team by assembling gifts and care packages for church family.

Cooking - Provide home cooked meals or desserts to those in need. 

Hospitality - Outreach events, serve, tear down, and set up.

Tier 2: 

Cards - Write and send cards during life events.

Funeral - Assist with funerals by greeting attendees. Set up and serve food.

Handyman - Assist with minor home repairs or yard work.

Small Group Rep - Coordinate care within the Small Groups and submit Care Form.

Our Connect Team helps people feel at home from the moment they walk through the doors. Whether you’re new, visiting, or looking to get more involved, this team is here to answer questions, provide information, and help you find your next step. From greeting on Sundays to helping people join small groups or serve, the Connect Team makes sure everyone feels seen, supported, and connected.

Tier 1: 

Coffee Bar/ Hospitality - Serve guests with hospitality by preparing and offering coffee to help create a welcoming environment where people can connect.

Parking Lot Greeter - Create a safe and welcoming environment by greeting guests as they arrive. Assist with parking and traffic flow.

Tier 2: Connect Team - Create a warm and welcoming environment and first impression by greeting guests. Help individuals and families feel at home and connected at church by helping them take their next steps (examples - Baptisms, Growth Track, Small Groups, Serve Team, and Events).

Our Dream Center Team serves by assisting with programs, activities, and resources that support students and families. They help create a welcoming, encouraging, and engaging environment where everyone can participate and grow. Please take a moment to review the options below:

Pressing Need:

Tier 2: Outreach Van Transportation* - Provides safe and reliable transportation to and from church services, events and activities in church-owned vehicles. Engage with passengers.

Tier 1: 

Resource Management Team - Organize donations in Dream Center Closet and stock Dream Center Trailer. Assist participants shopping in the Closet.

Cooking Team - Prepare food for Adopt a Blocks and Dream Center events.

Handy Man Team - Any type of need of our participants for repairs to home or vehicles. Build handicap ramps and helping participants move into housing.

Tier 2: 

Assistant Coaches - Follow up with the participants under the supervision of a Coach on how the "win strategy" is going

Adopt A Block - Monthly outreach into underserved neighborhoods with the goal of finding a need and filling it. Distribute food, hygiene items and other essentials.

Restored Store* - Assist the customers and tell them the "why" and the story of the merchandise. Check out merchandise on Square, help with Inventory Display. Assist with repurposing furniture to sell in Restored.

Van Transportation* - Transport participants to rehabilitation programs, safe houses, medical appointments, job interviews and church.

Tutor* - Tutoring Middle School and High School students who are below grade average. tutoring will be via Zoom or on the campus of Life Springs Church. Days are flexible with availability from students, family and tutor.

Jail Ministry* - Team meets weekly with female and male inmates to teach life skills and build relationships with the inmates in order to help them with services upon re-entry to the community.

24-Hour Hotline - Answer calls coming into the Dream Center hotline. Collect information and direct calls to the appropriate person.

Tier 3:

Coach*: Work closely with participants to develop a “win strategy.” Develop goals and position them for growth in body, soul and spirit. Help meet their needs, find resources, etc. This role is mostly during weekdays. 

Peer Support Specialist *: Monthly follow ups with participants to focus on building relationships and encouragement. 

Support Group Facilitator *: Facilitating a class to provide emotional, social and/or educational support to participants (drug addiction, alcohol addiction, etc.)

Student Mentor *: Going into the local middle schools and elementary schools (5th graders) weekly, mentoring students who are at risk for behavior issues and who are below grade average.

The Emergency Response Team helps ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during events and activities. Team members are trained to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, provide first aid, and assist with evacuation or safety procedures as needed.

Tier 2:

Nurse - Monitor church activities to detect and prevent possible
security threats. Respond swiftly and appropriately to security and/or medical incidents or emergencies.

EMT - Monitor church activities to detect and prevent possible

The Kids Ministry team serves by teaching, guiding, and caring for children during programs and activities. Team members help create a safe, fun, and engaging environment where kids can learn, grow, and feel valued.

Pressing Need: Tier 3 Teachers* (Toddler-5th Grade) - Welcomes students with enthusiasm, teaches Bible lessons using provided curriculum in a classroom setting, leads engaging activities that create a fun, safe and trusting environment for children. Teachers are trained and serve in the classroom that best aligns with their gifts and interests. Requires excellent communication skills.

Pressing Need: Tier 2 Teacher Assistant* - Helps maintain the large group atmosphere and assists the teacher in small groups.

Tier 2:

Check-in / Greeter* - Welcome families with excitement as they enter Kids' Ministry Areas, assist with check-in process, direct parents to classrooms, introduce the kids to their teachers, and ensure everyone feels comfortable and welcome.

Teacher Assistant* - Helps maintain the large group atmosphere and assists the teacher in small groups.

Infant Room Teacher* - Love on our babies by creating a trusting environment for both the child and the parents, pray over the babies, play and interact with them, change diapers at least once during service times. Ensure the kids have fun, are safe, and feel the love of Christ through you.

Toddler Room Teacher* - Love on our kids and create a trusting environment for both children and their parents. Be a part of teaching lessons and helping toddlers with activities and/or crafts. Change diapers, check pull-ups at least once during service times and assist with any potty needs. Pray over the kids and play and interact with them. Ensure the kids have fun, are safe, and feel the love of Christ through you.

Special Needs Buddy* - Assists the Special Needs Director and Coaches. Pair with a child to ensure the best opportunity for learning and engagement, and shows care and compassion for the student.

Prize Hub Assistant* - Help kids celebrate their spiritual wins by helping them choose prizes based on earned points in class. Help organize and stock Prize Hub.

Tier 3:

Service Team Leader* - Supports Kids' Ministry by welcoming families, assisting with check-in, directing families to classrooms, ensuring volunteers are in place, and communicating with classrooms.

Special Needs Coach* - Adult volunteer to assist children who have special needs, interact with students during large group activities, help them connect and build relationships with other students, and help the child stay focused in the classroom.

Large Group Leader* - Teaches in a large group setting with the lessons provided. Requires excellent communication skills and high energy.

The Media Team captures and shares moments from events and activities through photography and videography. Team members help document experiences, create visual content, and support communication and promotion efforts for the ministry.

Tier 2:

Photography - Take pictures of the different ministry areas on campus.

Videography - Record videos of the different ministry areas on campus.

Video Editing - Work with the media team to edit videos of various forms.

Social Media - Work with the media team to create and edit content.

Web - Creates and maintains the church website including writing and editing.

Graphics - Creates visual concepts using software to communicate ideas.

Random other teams that have serving opportunities.

Pressing Needs:

The Production Team manages audio, visual, and technical elements for events and services. Team members help ensure sound, lighting, and media run smoothly, creating an engaging and seamless experience for all participants.

Tier 2:

Lighting - Operates the lighting hardware and software in the auditoriums).

Director - Coordinates service elements and ensures all volunteers are doing their role with excellence during a service.

Computer - Operates the slides for songs, videos and sermons.

Sound Tech - Operates the audio console in the auditoriums(s) for the service experience.

The Teen Ministry serves students in middle and high school by providing opportunities for growth, connection, and leadership. Team members help lead activities, support events, and create a welcoming and engaging environment where teens can learn, serve, and build meaningful relationships.

Tier 2: Teen Leader Assistant* - Assists in overseeing students before, during, and after services. Sit in small groups and contribute. Helps operate tech when needed.

Students can serve by helping with events, activities, and programs within the church. They can assist with set-up, support other teams, welcome participants, and contribute to a positive and engaging environment. Please take a moment to review the options below:

Connect: Coffee Bar - Greets those who visit the coffee bar, prepare coffee for guests and volunteers, and keeps the coffee bar stocked

Connect: Greeter (High School Students) - Greet and assist guests as they enter the buildings. Give facility tour and connect first time guests with kids to a Kids' Ministry Team Leader.

Media Team: Photography - Take pictures of the different ministry areas on campus throughout each service .

Broadcast Team: Camera Operator - Operate a camera during one of our livestream services.

Events Team - Support church and outreach events by setting up, tearing down, serving food, decorating, and planning with the Care Team.

Teen Ministry: Worship Team - Leading and creating an environment of worship. Expected to be proficient in vocal and/or instrument abilities. Audition required.

Kids' Ministry: Classroom Helper - Supports classroom activities, engage with kids, and help create a fun, safe environment under the guidance of an adult Kids' Ministry Teacher. Placement is based on age, training, and interest.

Kids' Ministry: Check in/Greeter (High School Students) - Welcome families with excitement, assist with check-in process, direct parents to classrooms, and introduce the kids to their teachers. Will serve under the direction of a Kids' Ministry Leader.

Kids' Ministry: Worship Team - Leads Preschool/Elementary kids with worship through song and dance under the direction of a Kids' Ministry Leader.

Kids' Ministry: Special Needs Buddy - Assists the Special Needs Director and Coaches, pairs up with a child to ensure the best opportunity for learning and engagement, and shows care and compassion for the student.

Team Members on the Worship Team serve by leading and supporting worship experiences through music, singing, and creative arts. They help create an encouraging and engaging environment where everyone can connect, participate, and be inspired.

Tier 2: Musician - Participating in worship service(s), events and practices.
